Exponentially expand your reach by rethinking the work you do.

Good morning everyone!

As I mentor individuals into leadership it can be difficult to delegate & release control. However focusing only on your tasks can get in the way of helping the team work thru their tasks. But by Scaling Out, you are able to exponentially achieve project & organizational goals. What do I mean? As a consultant, you bill 40hrs/week right? You might be able to bill 80/100 hr weeks but that is your max billable potential. By Scaling Out, say enabling a team of 10 people, you are allowing everyone to bill 40 hr weeks which suddenly became 400 BILLABLE HOURS! I guess the only way you could do that amount of hours in a week on your own is if you used the time-turner that Hermione used in the Harry Potter movie Prisoner of Azkaban. We are thinking Hermione is now 4yrs older than everyone else due to the time-turner.

 

Back to scaling out. This is the whole reason I have created the podcast. Even if I could mentor 40hrs/wk (which I think I would love!) I still could only meet with 80 mentees at 30min a piece. But now I’m recorded so that 1000s could listen in! Hopefully this podcast does have that reach! 

 

Anyhow, I’ve exponentially scaled out my mentoring capabilities. Now that you can see the value I hope that you can use this as motivation not just to delegate tasks but enable your team to reach their potential. I have tips on delegation planned for future podcasts, so keep checking back for more!
